The main means of public transport in Mykonos is the KTEL buses, which are the most cost-effective way to get around the island.

The central bus stations are Fabrika and Old Port, situated in Mykonos Town. Buses depart frequently, serving routes to both touristy places and remote locations. During the high season, bus routes to/from the airport are also frequent, with the service carrying out many itineraries on a daily basis, from early in the morning until late at night.

The bus network covers the major tourist resorts, with buses running until 4 am in peak season, and the fares vary slightly depending on the distance of the trip, typically ranging from €1-3 each way.

This makes the bus system an excellent and affordable option for getting around Mykonos, especially during the summer.
